central spot for exploring venice's gems and canals
i stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the amazing place, well-situated near the hidden pearl of venice, palazzo grimani, which is a short stroll from both san marco and rialto bridges, making my weekend explorations delightful, while the hotel offers a generous breakfast and the comfort of a clean room with everything one may need.

Recommend for short stay
Charming hotel, friendly staff, where the lovely atmosphere made our morning breakfasts delightful with homemade cakes and the location was perfectly convenient for exploring the area with easy access to frequent public transport links.
Nothing bad to say.

the location is pretty decent, but the stairs are just ridiculous. Going to a public bathroom felt more like a chore. I could've almost given a good review, but they didn’t even offer me a room upgrade for all my inconveniences. So all in all, definitely not relaxing for a hotel stay.

We felt super welcomed by the amazing staff! The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to San Marco. However, the noise from other guests was a bit too much at times. 😊

Amazing views from our Standard Double Room. The hotel location was perfect, just next to Palazzo Grimani and a short stroll from San Marco. Decorations in the room were lovely, offering a quaint aesthetic. The staff truly stood out. they were eager to share local tips, ensuring we had the best time exploring. Breakfast featured delicious homemade cakes, which made mornings delightful. However, the four flights of stairs to reach our room were quite a challenge, especially with luggage. While the absence of an elevator added character, it was not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Historical charm of the building, proximity to public transport, charming common areas
Difficulty locating the hotel upon arrival due to poor signage!!! The lack of elevator access makes it a hassle for those with heavy luggage on multiple floors!!! Bathroom cleanliness in shared spaces could definitely use improvement!!!

We explored Venice with our small kids and took a private water taxi through the narrow calli, discovering amazing glassworks. The family room was bright and clean, and the owners were super friendly, giving us awesome tips on local eateries.
In my wife’s opinion, a small playground nearby would make family stays more enjoyable.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay in a Triple Room. Jeida, Andrea, and Matteo were great hosts who made our visit special. The location is unbeatable, just a 7-minute walk to St Mark's. Plus, their restaurant recommendations were fantastic!
Stairs can be a bit challenging with luggage.
